Today, we won the Sec 2s 5-3! This is because of Justin's great scoring and Timothy Lung's pro keeping. Lung is a better goalkeeper than me, which seems to be pretty obvious, by the way he made numerous great saves. Lung had the glory of scoring the first goal, although he was the goalkeeper. He threw the ball right to the opponent's goalpost and their goalkeeper tried to catch it.
I guess their goalkeeper was just careless or had butter-fingers to let the ball touch his hand and slip past into the goal. It was unbelievable, the first goal that a goalkeeper had thrown and really slipped past the other side's goalkeeper and scoring! Justin scored 3 goals to put us in the lead before half-time. So the score was 4-3.
In the second half, the Sec 2s seemed to be tired and did not take that many shots at the goal. However, they put up quite a solid defence and we had a hard time trying to get past them. However, Aloysius Poh secured our win with another goal. So, we ended up 5-3, which is not bad already, considering that we are Sec 1s playing against Sec 2s.
We were lucky to have Justin back to help us. He was suspended from today's match last Thusday as he had kicked a ball up to a tree and it is still stuck up there until now.
However, Chelsea lost to Barca in the Champion's League semi-finals, but not exactly lost. Chelsea went to Barca and played a game there and the score was 0-0. Then, Barca went to Chelsea and the score ended up 1-1. Chelsea had scored 1 goal at home but Barca had scored 1 goal away. So Barca will be facing Man United in the finals. What a waste.
