Today, Justin and Wei Yang came to my house to do a English ACE project on Animal Farm. We had to like, sort of design a newspaper, showing propaganda and inequality in the farm. So, we have to look at it from the viewpoint of the pigs. We had to "bluff" the animals using untrue and false information. However, the reader, who is not an animal should be able to tell that the pigs are trying to benefit themselves and are just using excuses and propaganda to brainwash the animals. We spent half a day, from 12 noon to like around 8.30 pm. But we managed to finish the project it was 8 pages long with around 8 articles.
We spent a lot of effort. Some words were hand written, but most were typed out. Several pictures were printed while some were drawn out by Justin. I realised that he has pretty good drawing skills. He may not be better than artists like Zhu Cheng and Ernest, but he still deserves credit for drawing pictures. He is also creative enough to think of a poem dedicated to Leader Napoleon. Our newspaper may be a bit crappy but I hope that it is okay.
